Looks like Brandon is OUT!!

I just checked Weckl's website, and it looks like Brandon Fields has left the band. The new sax player is Gary Meeks. There is no mention of Brandon's exit.

I had not heard any rumors, but I always sensed a bit of a negative vibe when it came to Brandon. Dave always seemed to mention him last, and the two never seemed to interact on stage (the way Dave does with Tom Kennedy and Steve Weingart.) I saw DWB this past May, and Brandon didn't really seem to care about the music he was playing.

Have any of you heard anything? (Just curious.)

MAN!!! u serious??? gary meek was playing sax at the collective event (and plyed well) but i thought he was just a dep.....

thats a shame....brandon was great but ure right he always did look disinterested!!!!

I heard about this in June or July.

A friend who knows Brandon said that he had grown sick of the gig and wanted to do something that grooved more.

Apparently he was fed up with dave's playing!!!
